You can use free on-site parking and all guests have access to the entire hayloft, courtyard and all amenities are only for you. (no shared spaces)

In close proximity, next door is the Shepherds Hut with its own entrance where other guests may be staying.

If you need some extra parking you can use free parking at the next-door church.

While you may have the accommodation to yourself, you won’t be alone when it comes to planning your trip.

What’s the neighbourhood like?

Looking out, there is no mistaking that you are in the heart of a Norfolk Broadland village!

You are surrounded by countryside, fields, and thatched cottages in the distance.

Next door, is the magnificent St Helen’s Church. Also known as the Cathedral of The Broads due to the spectacular view from the top of the tower. Open 365 days a year, do climb the tower if you have a head for heights! (There are 89 steps, 2 iron ladders and a hatch!)

Have in mind that sometimes church bells ringing at midnight can be disturbing for very light sleepers.

Ranworth is a lovely Broadland village, fronting Malthouse Broad (so-called because of the old malt houses near the pub).

It can be accessed by a dyke from the River Bure. The Green by the Staithe is a hive of activity during the summer. You can while away the hours people-watching and soaking up the scenery. There is a café and gift shop on the Green and we have discovered the best way to enjoy the view is with an ice cream in your hand!

We highly recommend you visit Ranworth Broad Nature Reserve. Choose from many wonderful walks, cycle routes, boat trips & boat hire nearby

Plus there are the best Norfolk sandy beaches a short drive away. We recommend Horsey famous for its seals, only 20 mins by car away.

The house is located in the heart of a Norfolk Broadland village- Ranworth.

It is a 5-minute stroll to Maltsters Pub, Malthouse Broad, cafe, village store & Ranworth Broad Nature Reserve.

However, Norfolk is a big area, with many things to see and do. To make the most of your trip, we always recommend guests hire their own transport to see all Norfolk has to offer.

By the time you arrive, you’ll have a key code sent to you. This code is from the key box with all instructions on how to access the property. In case you have any questions we are always only a call away.

We are child friendly and gladly encourage families to experience Norfolk.

We have a high chair and travel cot available on request. If you are bringing young children, please bear in mind, there are external stairs to the property. Also a couple of steps inside the property and some low-level windows with safety locks.

You will always check into a clean apartment and don’t have to worry about cleaning up before you go. This is all included in the cleaning fee.

We do have a few requests to make sure we keep our properties in the best condition for your arrival so you don’t have to worry about anything during your stay.

We are pet friendly and allow 1 well behaved dog for an extra charge of £25. Please let us know if you are bringing your pet when making the booking.

Please keep wet/muddy dogs restricted to the kitchen /hard floor areas.

Please kindly do not allow them on soft furnishings or in the bedroom areas. Thank you.

Please kindly do not take your dog in the field with the alpacas as it spooks them.

No smoking, please. (apart from the designated outside areas – use ashtrays provided)

Maintain the property in good repair during your stay (as you find it upon entry).

Quiet hours between 9 pm – 8 am on a weekday and 11 pm – 8 am on a weekend.

The stairs and balcony are for access only, please do not sit or smoke on these.

We know that accidents occur from time to time, resulting in damage. We would not charge for one-off crockery breakages). We kindly ask if anything does get broken to let us know before you check out.
We are responsible for keeping the property in good repair for all our guests. We are very understanding.
