Water views from every level! The year-round 2-bedroom Honeymoon Cabin has a spacious deck with access to Rocky Bound Pond and a private aluminum dock to enjoy all of NH’s water and outdoor activities. Swim, kayak, float, boat, fish, relax, repeat! Town boat launch is within a minute drive or short walk. The Cabin is nestled in the picturesque New England small town of Croydon NH, located in the Dartmouth/Lake Sunapee Region. Close to Mount Sunapee NH.

Booking:
Please read all the provided information to make sure the cabin is a good fit for your vacation needs. If there is an issue with your stay that would prevent you from ranking it five stars, please give us a chance to address it.

By booking the Cabin, you agree to the House Rules.
Please be mindful of COVID-19 travel mandates in New Hampshire.
The space:
Newly built 2-bedroom home.
Main bedroom features a queen bed, large closets, bureau.
Second bedroom/sleeping loft has two twin beds and a futon to comfortably sleep four.
Living room features a sitting area with a Wi-Fi Smart flat screen TV and DVD player. Guests can log into their Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, Prime Video, etc. accounts.
Kitchen is equipped with all the necessities; utensils, dinnerware, pots/pans, coffee maker that can accommodate K-Cups or grounds, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, stove. Set up on the table for six or take your creation to the sitting area on the porch overlooking the pond. This home is equipped with a water dispenser. Can accommodate a 4 or 5 gallon water jug, which can be purchased at local grocery stores. Please note, bottled water is required for consumption. Guests must provide their own bottled water for consumption.
Weber Gas grill is located out front overlooking the water.
Washing machine and dryer are an added convenience. We don’t provide detergent so bring a few pods/detergent with you if you’ll be doing laundry.
Outside on the porch you’ll find a 4-seat patio set, wooden and plastic Adirondack chairs and small table.
Enjoy a game of cornhole or washer toss.
Wi-Fi is available at the cabin. New Hampshire is mountainous and cell phone reception is often intermittent. No land line is available. Verizon has better cell service.
Cleaning and supplies: This is self-catered vacation rental (a limited supply of consumables is provided – 1 toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher detergent and garbage bags). Each property is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival.
Water access to Rocky Bound Pond is via a short walk down a right of way to an aluminum dock for guests to use. From the dock or waters edge you can enjoy seasonal activities such as swimming, float in a raft, launch a kayak, fish, sunbathe or winter activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice fishing. Shorefront is shared.
Seasonal rentals: Kayak, paddle board, floating mat are available to rent during your stay for an additional fee. Please contact us for availability!
Please note: Aluminum dock is available for use May through October. May and October bookings, contact us to find out if the dock will be available during your stay.
Guests should bring their own beach towels.
Heat and AC: October through April the heat will be turned on.
May through September an AC unit will be available.

Cabin is easily accessible from the driveway. Onsite parking for two vehicles.
This property is located a Pond Community with several cabins and cottages on the road. As typical in these communities the properties are close to each other.
Located in a rural area with may lakes and ponds around to enjoy fishing and boating!
Easily located off of I-89.
ATV’s are allowed on certain roads throughout the Town that tie into Class VI roads and trail system for miles of exploring.
The Cabin is located within minutes to Snowmobile Trails for miles of exploring.
Snow storms: The Cabin is located in the mountains and subject to potentially large snowfalls. The location is rural and the Cabin driveway and walkway to the front door is plowed and shoveled professionally. We cannot control what time of day the plow comes and it’s safe to assume the larger the snowfall, the longer the plow delay. The plow may not come when only two inches of snow or less is forecasted. A shovel and sand/salt are provided for your convenience. Please monitor weather forecasts prior to your arrival.
Guest access:
We offer contactless entry access. We are available to answer any questions you may have during your stay. We are knowledgeable with the surrounding area, feel free to ask questions. Call or text.
A binder, located on the kitchen island, provides local attractions, area dining and instructions for appliances.
House Rules:
-Guests are required to sign a Vacation Rental Agreement prior to arrival to comply with Pond Life’s Terms of Service, Homeowners’ Association rules or local laws or regulations.
– ID verification prior to arrival
– Direct Bookings / VRBO Bookings: $500 Damage Deposit will be held on Guest’s credit card 1 day before arrival and released 7 days after departure.
– Guest must be over the age of 25 and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period
– House Rules must be followed
– Quiet time is between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am
– No fires, fireworks
– No smoking is allowed in or around any property
– No large gatherings, house parties, loud noises, events, or any illegal activity shall take place at the property
– Bottled water is required for consumption
– Couch is for sitting not sleeping
– Leaving the property tidy, running the dishwasher, and taking out the trash are expected of our guests
– Parents should be aware of where kids are at all times and young children should be supervised when on waterfront areas, beachfront, boat launches or boating and always have life jackets on when involved in boating or waterfront activities
– Parents take full responsibility for their children in all waterfront activities and boating
– Please be considerate when using cooking spices. We all love flavor, but some smells permeate longer than your stay. Any excessive odor may result in additional fees charged. Do not cook with strong aromatic foods and heavy spices inside the cabin, please use the outside grill.
– Dogs must be leashed on and off property. New Hampshire has a leash law.
– Security Deposit – if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $500
– If excessive wear and tear is found on property, or additional cleaning is necessary due to spills, trash left on site, unclean dishes, stains to furniture, carpeting, linens, paint, wallpaper, or flooring, Guest authorizes the Owner to bill them for additional fees. If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded or if the Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict Guest and all occupants immediately and to bill the guest a minimum service fee of $250. If any sign of smoking is discovered Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee. Unless the rental policy specifically allows, if any sign of any pet is discovered Guest authorizes Owner to charge the guest an additional minimum $500 cleaning fee.
– Properties are fully furnished properties that will include bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, TV, furnishings unless otherwise specified.
-Travel Insurance is highly recommended for any stay.
– All properties managed by Pond Life Vacation Rentals have on-site devices for the safety and security of guests and the home. Any attempt to turn off, damage, disrupt or remove these devices will lead to fines and/or eviction without a refund. This home has the following devices: Sound Decibel Monitor – does not record, monitors noise level, located in common areas throughout the home.
– These rentals cannot be used for business purposes
-The number of guests listed on the booking reservation is considered the maximum number of guests approved and authorized to be on the property, staying the night or visiting. A guest is any adult or child at the property. No unauthorized guests on the property at any time. Disregarding this is cause for booking being terminated and guests being asked to vacate the property. No refunds will be given. Guests will be charged $100 per night per person for guests exceeding the approved number of guests.
