Welcome to Cajun Home Downtown, this 100 year old historic home is located just 0.3 miles ( 4 minute walk) from all of the attractions of Downtown Lafayette! Immerse in Cajun Culture fully in this century old Cajun prairie style home.
Cajun Home Downtown is our newest location, a spacious and airy 2-bedroom historic home located within walking distance of everything downtown has to offer. There’s ample parking space for two cars tandem on-site, additional cars can park in designated spots on the street close by. You can easily walk or bike to amazing cafes, restaurants, museums, festivals, theaters, libraries, clubs- there’s always something fun and amazing to explore! The train and bus stations are also proximal, should you need further assistance discovering the area. We’re all about providing you a comfortable stay and easy access to the best our city has to offer! Please note that this home is located in a popular urban area of downtown Lafayette with high foot traffic.
A door code will be sent to you with additional check in instructions. Guests have access to the entire home. Parking on premises is limited but street parking is always available. All amenities are provided for guests!
We have a booking manager available for all booking and check-in inquiries, plus a full housekeeping staff that will ensure a comfortable stay.
The neighborhood is in the popular downtown area of Lafayette, La. This historic area is generally quiet during the day with light to moderate foot traffic and occasional bicycles. Perfect for guests that want to experience all of the attractions of downtown! All shops, restaurants, and attractions are only a short walk/drive away!
This home is near the airport, downtown bus/train station, bikes are also popular downtown, and even use Uber or Lyft if you would like! There is plenty of available parking downtown if you have your own vehicle though!
